Home Depot is awesome! The first Saturday of every month they offer a hands on kids worksop. The kids learn how to use tools safely and they really get to build something. I took Johnny and he had a lot of fun, gluing and hammering. He built a mini Foosball table and the finished product looked great, and was functional. (Which I was concerned with since I was reading the directions). And the best part about the event is ...its FREE! Perfect for a rainy day.

My favorite part of the morning is when we finished up and Johnny pretended to be a worker in his orange apron. He was showing me the way to light bulbs when someone asked if they can help and he said I got this. LOL
